Sharjah Asset Management (SAM) is the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, established to manage and invest the government's assets to generate income. SAM's portfolio spans several key sectors, including real estate, oil and gas, transportation and logistics, commercial and retail, and technology and telecommunications. This diversified approach aims to support the economic and social development of the Emirate of Sharjah. The organization employs various investment strategies, such as fully owned ventures, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, direct investments, and strategic partnerships. These strategies are designed to maximize returns and contribute to the sustainable economic growth of Sharjah. In January 2026, SAM launched its new 2026–2028 corporate strategy, focusing on maximizing the financial value of its investment portfolio to support Sharjah's long-term, sustainable economic growth.
