Sheila Lirio Marcelo is an angel investor and the founder, chairwoman, and former CEO of Care.com, an online marketplace connecting families with caregivers for various services, including childcare, senior care, pet care, tutoring, and housekeeping. She founded Care.com in 2006 after facing challenges in finding care for her own family, aiming to simplify the process of connecting families with trusted caregivers. Under her leadership, Care.com expanded its services to multiple countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, and other Western European nations, becoming a leading platform in the caregiving industry.
