This partnership aimed to support Sithe Global's plans to develop, finance, construct, and operate electric power generation facilities in the U.S. and certain international markets. The company's projects include the 1,500 MW Desert Rock facility in New Mexico, the 750 MW Toquop facility in Nevada, and the 300 MW River Hill facility in Pennsylvania. Sithe Global Power's portfolio also features international projects such as the 880 MW Goreway Station in Ontario, Canada, and the 250 MW Bujagali Hydropower Plant in Uganda. The company continues to pursue opportunities in various regions, focusing on large-scale independent power projects to address capacity shortfalls and provide reliable, environmentally sound power solutions.
