Slovenian Sovereign Holding (SSH) is a fully state-owned company responsible for managing the Republic of Slovenia's capital assets. Established in 1993, SSH oversees a diverse portfolio that includes significant holdings in various Slovenian companies across sectors such as energy, finance, transportation, infrastructure, and tourism. The company's primary mission is to enhance the value of these assets and contribute to the economic stability of Slovenia. In 2022, SSH expanded its scope by merging with the Bank Assets Management Company (BAMC), thereby acquiring new business activities related to claims management and the management of immovable and movable assets. This merger aimed to strengthen the performance, productivity, and sustainable value of the state capital asset portfolio, aligning with SSH's strategic objectives for the period up to 2030. SSH's governance structure includes a Supervisory Board and a Management Board, with members appointed by the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and the SSH Supervisory Board, respectively. The company's operations are subject to audits by the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia, ensuring transparency and accountability in its management practices.
