Overview

Chinaccelerator, established in 2010, is Asia's first startup accelerator, operating under the global venture capital firm SOSV. The program is designed to assist internet startups from around the world in entering the Chinese market and expanding globally. It offers a comprehensive six-month program divided into two phases: a three-month growth phase and a three-month fundraising phase. During the growth phase, startups receive guidance on product-market fit, user acquisition, and monetization strategies tailored to the Chinese and Asian markets. The fundraising phase focuses on preparing startups for investment opportunities, culminating in a Demo Day attended by over 150 investors. Throughout the program, participants benefit from mentorship by a network of over 300 industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives, as well as access to co-working spaces in Shanghai. Chinaccelerator's alumni network continues to provide support beyond the program, fostering a global community of entrepreneurs. The program is open to startups in various sectors, including e-commerce, fintech, data marketing, edtech, healthcare, and entertainment, with a preference for companies in the seed to early-stage funding rounds. The program requires applicants to have a viable product with an existing user base or clients.
