Stephen Alepa

Overview

With over 25 years of experience in management consulting and financial technology, Stephen Alepa is the CEO of Olmstead Associates, a private investment firm specializing in venture capital and private equity investments. The firm focuses on a diverse range of industries, including technology, financial services, healthcare, and consumer goods, with a geographical emphasis on the United States. Olmstead Associates invests across various stages, from seed to late-stage companies, with investment sizes ranging from $1 million to $50 million. Prior to his role at Olmstead Associates, Stephen held senior positions at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), PwC, and Arthur Andersen, where he was the partner-in-charge of the New England financial markets business consulting practice. He also led trading pioneers ITG and Macgregor, where he architected and ran the ITG Net business unit, building it into a community of over 750 buy-sides, sell-sides, custodians, and industry utilities. Stephen holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and graduated from Georgetown University. In addition to his role at Olmstead Associates, Stephen serves as a General Partner at the Omaha Storm Chasers, a professional baseball team, and is an Advisory Board Member at SenaHill Partners, LP, a private equity firm.
