Overview

SuperLayer is a Web3 venture studio that builds and supports new multi-chain, tokenized consumer products and applications powered by the RLY Protocol. Led by Managing Partners Kevin Chou and Mahesh Vellanki, who have more than $1 billion in exits between their combined venture and founding experience, SuperLayer works with partners and teams to facilitate the launch, staffing, go-to-market, compliance, and fundraising for Web3 projects. The studio's mission is to attract and support the next 100 million people using crypto. SuperLayer co-founds projects with entrepreneurial product leaders and provides them with seed funding. By developing concepts internally, recruiting world-class product leaders, and streamlining funding from early development through public launch and beyond, SuperLayer aims to build category-defining products in 4-6 months rather than a more standard product lifecycle of 2-3 years. The studio's leadership team brings significant collective experience as founders, crypto startup operators, product managers, and venture studio builders. SuperLayer is backed by a network of changemakers, including Marc Andreessen, Chris Dixon, Paris Hilton, and Carter Reum. The studio has made several investments, including Gambit, Taki, and Joyride, with funding rounds ranging from pre-seed to seed stages. SuperLayer's approach focuses on leveraging the unique strengths of Web3 and building crypto products that consumers actually want, aiming to provide all the benefits of Web3 to a new generation of users by eliminating barriers and making it easier than ever for everyone to take advantage of everything that blockchain and crypto technology have to offer.
