Swiss Technology Venture Capital Fund

Overview

The technology fund is a climate policy instrument of the Swiss federal government and was established in the CO2 Act of 23 December 2011. Companies that develop and commercialize marketable innovations designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote the use of renewable energy and conserve natural resources can apply for a loan guarantee of up to CHF 3 million. The guarantees are issued to banks and other suitable lenders and cover up to 100% of the loan.
