Ted Elvhage

Overview

Ted Elvhage is a Swedish venture capitalist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in early-stage investments. He is the Managing Partner at Edge Venture Capital, a Nordic technology investment firm founded in 2019, which focuses on scaling emerging technology companies from the Nordics and Baltics. The firm aims to support companies with a positive impact on their ecosystems and the world at large, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Edge Venture Capital has a presence in Silicon Valley and is raising capital for its first fund, Edge Venture Capital Fund 1. In addition to his role at Edge Venture Capital, Elvhage serves as the Chairman of Keiretsu Forum Nordics, an investor network covering the Nordic region. Keiretsu Forum Nordics connects investors and private company shareholders to facilitate private share transactions, focusing on early-stage ventures with proven business models and revenue streams. The network consists of a diverse group of investors with a shared passion for supporting unlisted ventures. Elvhage has been an entrepreneur and early-stage investor since the beginning of the 21st century, with more than 60 investments in the advanced technology sector. He co-founded Rymdkapital, the Nordics' first space-focused venture capital firm, and chairs EBAN Space, promoting European space innovation. His investment interests include aerospace, new space, new air mobility, defense, startups, and scaleups. He has also been involved in mentoring programs for New Nordic startups and scaleups, connecting them with investors and industry experts to help them enter the US market. Elvhage holds a BSc in Biochemistry and a Minor in Business and Administration from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. His professional background includes roles as Sales Manager at Kivra, Sales Manager in Sweden at HP Software, and Sweden Manager at Comperio. He has also served as a board member for various companies, including WTS - Wonder Technology Solutions AB, Gradientech AB, E14 Invest AB, Stockholms Affärsänglar Management AB, and STOAF III Venture Partners AB. Elvhage's investment philosophy centers on supporting ventures that have the potential to become global category winners, with a focus on sustainability and positive impact.
