Overview

TEDxTheRocks is an independently organised Australian event licensed from TED by TEDster, Vishal C Joshi. Held at the historic Sydney Theatre, this annual ideas symposium is supported and run by a network of fellow Thinkers, Changemakers, Social Pioneers and Innovators. TEDxTheRocks establishes a leading platform that celebrates both Australian and International speakers who not only inspire members of The Rocks community, but also call upon them to take action for a better tomorrow.\\TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader.
