Overview

Thomas S. Roberts is a seasoned private equity investor based in Boston, Massachusetts. He founded Equality Asset Management in 2018, focusing on long-term investments in durable technology, healthcare, and tech-enabled growth companies. Prior to establishing Equality, Roberts served as Managing Partner at Summit Partners, where he led the firm's Portfolio Performance Group and co-founded its Credit Business. He also served on the Board of Directors of over thirty private and seven public companies. Roberts holds an AB in Economics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. In 2025, he acquired Spezia Calcio, an Italian football club, marking his expansion into European investments. Additionally, Roberts and his wife, Kristen, were the lead donors for the construction of Roberts Stadium at Princeton University, named in his honor. The stadium opened in 2008 and was rebuilt in 2022.
