Timothy Gordon is a co-founder and Managing Director of Gordon Property Group (GPG), a private investment firm specializing in real estate and private equity investments. GPG owns and manages commercial, mixed-use, and residential properties in the New York metro area, including Meyers Parking and The Bridgehampton Tennis & Surf Club. Mr. Gordon oversees the firm's day-to-day operations, including leasing, property management, acquisitions, and divestitures. He has also led the firm's geographic expansion beyond New York and into new investment strategies, including ground-up development, adaptive reuse, credit, and special situations. He is a founding partner of the real estate private equity firms Aria Development Group (ADG) and Victrix Investments (VX). ADG is among the most active ground-up, multifamily developers in Washington DC and Miami, with other projects throughout the country. ADG has also completed multiple distressed mortgage acquisitions and originated a series of structured credit investments. VX is a leader in adaptive reuse and has deep expertise in historic tax credits and other related programs. Its principals have converted office and hotel properties into rental apartments throughout the East Coast and Midwest. Collectively, ADG and VX have completed or have under development approximately 5,000 rental condominium units in Charlotte, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Miami, Nashville, New York, Pittsburgh, and Washington DC. In equity capital markets, Mr. Gordon co-founded Gordon Haskett Research Advisors (GHRA), the equity research affiliate of Gordon Haskett Capital Corporation. In 2022, Institutional Investor ranked GHRA #1 for Consumer Research among all Independent Research Providers. GHRA has also established itself as a leader in event-driven/special situation research. Mr. Gordon began his career at Blackstone and was a partner at a special situations hedge fund prior to joining his family's business. He graduated cum laude from Harvard College and received an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Gordon's investment focus spans various asset classes, including real estate and private equity, with a particular emphasis on growth, late-stage, buyout, turnaround, and distressed investments. His geographical focus is primarily within the United States, targeting a diverse range of industries such as real estate, financial services, healthcare, technology, consumer goods, energy, industrial, media, telecommunications, retail, transportation, education, hospitality, agriculture, and construction.
