Timothy Young

Overview

Timothy Young is an angel investor based in the United States. He is a Founding General Partner at Eniac Ventures, a New York-based seed fund where he typically invests between $200,000 and $1.2 million. His investment focus includes sectors such as SaaS, AI, Health IT, Health & Hospital Services, Digital Health, IoT, Cybersecurity, ConstructionTech, FinTech, and Enterprise. Prior to co-founding Eniac Ventures in 2009, Timothy founded Bridge, an enterprise software company in Beijing, which he led to an eight-figure exit. He also led product at Quoteship, a B2B logistics marketplace that exited to Logistics.com. His background includes coding at ExxonMobil, managing product at BAE Systems, and advising startups on patent and other IP issues at Morrison & Foerster. Timothy holds a BSE in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office registered attorney. In his personal time, he enjoys surfing and sailing, having surfed on six continents and planning to sail to Hawaii in the upcoming Pacific Cup. He is also passionate about combating climate change and serves on the board of the Institute for Energy & Climate Strategies (IECS).
