Triangle Community Foundation is a philanthropic organization based in North Carolina, USA, managing charitable funds and investments for community benefit. Grantmaking programs are housed within the Fund for the Triangle and can respond to immediate needs through specialized grant programs as they arise. In 2023, the Foundation awarded 602 grants totaling approximately $27.8 million, with grant sizes ranging from $5,000 to $40,000. The Foundation manages over $281 million in assets with a long-term investment strategy and stewards over 600 philanthropic funds, ranging in size and donor-driven initiatives. By partnering with donors, the Foundation invests more than $27 million each year to support nonprofit organizations and provide scholarships for individuals. Approximately 60% of grants stay in the Triangle region, encompassing Durham, Chatham, Orange, and Wake counties in North Carolina.
