Overview

VEB Ventures is a Russian venture capital firm supporting high-tech projects through direct investments and venture fund management. It is a subsidiary of VEB.RF, the state-owned development corporation in Russia. The firm focuses on financing promising companies using its own funds, private and public funds, and assisting Russian startups in entering international markets. VEB Ventures offers not only venture capital investments but also operational management support tools and access to financial products of VEB.RF Group companies. This allows them to formulate support schemes for Russian innovative companies, taking into account their individual needs, including facilitating access to international markets. In 2019, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, VEB Ventures announced a rebranding and a new strategy, focusing on investing in companies through direct transactions and joint venture funds with corporations and other market players.
