Overview
An angel investor and co-founder of Zopim, a live chat software company acquired by Zendesk in 2014. Zopim, founded in 2007 by NUS students Royston Tay, Wu Wenxiang, Kwok Yang Bin, Julian Low, and Qing-Ru Lim, developed a live chat widget to enhance online customer service. The company was incubated by NUS Enterprise and secured its first equity investment during this period. In 2010, Zopim expanded to the U.S., connecting with partners, including Zendesk, which acquired the company in 2014 for approximately USD $30 million. Wu Wenxiang graduated from the National University of Singapore's School of Computing in 2007. He served as Vice President of Engineering at Zopim, overseeing the development of its live chat product. After the acquisition, he continued with Zendesk as a Senior Principal Software Engineer. Wu has also made personal investments in startups such as Akronym and ADPList, focusing on early-stage companies in the software and technology sectors.
