The Funds Strategy involves making limited partnership investments in Wyoming-focused seed or early-stage venture capital funds, committing to invest predominantly in Wyoming-based companies. The Direct Strategy allows WYVC to participate directly in funding rounds for Wyoming companies, aiming to contribute up to 50% or $5 million to selected fundraising efforts. Both strategies are tailored to support the growth of Wyoming entrepreneurs and startups, fostering job creation and wealth generation within the state. By targeting a 20% contribution to selected funds or companies’ fundraising rounds, WYVC seeks to catalyze a vibrant startup ecosystem in Wyoming.
