xEdu is Europe's leading business accelerator for edtech startups, focusing on creating transformative learning solutions with pedagogical impact. Established in 2015, xEdu has accelerated 102 edtech startups from 20 countries, implementing 11 acceleration programs across Finland, Italy, and Lithuania. The accelerator offers a range of services, including coaching, mentoring, real-life testing environments for research and development, and access to a global network of education institutes and edtech investors. xEdu has built a strong edtech ecosystem in Finland and is now sharing its expertise worldwide, collaborating with corporations, governments, foundations, and EU consortiums to develop edtech in various countries. The accelerator runs two acceleration programs per year: Spring (March - June) and Fall (September - December). Through its programs, xEdu has helped startups raise more than €30 million in funding, with companies growing and achieving market valuations five times faster than the market growth. xEdu's mission is to support edtech startups in developing innovative learning solutions, leveraging Finland's superior educational system and dynamic tech scene, and combining it with a global network of innovators, educators, entrepreneurs, and investors.
