Yigal Erlich

Yigal Erlich is the founder and managing partner of Yozma Group, a pioneering venture capital firm in Israel. He is widely regarded as the founding father of the Israeli venture capital industry, having established Yozma in 1993 as the country's first government-sponsored venture capital fund. Under his leadership, Yozma has managed over $220 million and invested in more than 45 companies across various sectors, including technology, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence. Prior to founding Yozma, Erlich served as the Chief Scientist of Israel's Ministry of Industry and Trade from 1984 to 1992.
