The team is led by Simon Shen, a seasoned investment banker with extensive experience at Goldman Sachs and Barclays before founding ZQ Capital in 2016. He worked for many years for Goldman Sachs in both New York and Hong Kong and was also head of the China Financial Institutions Group at Barclays. He serves on the board of a number of public companies in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Other key team members include Michael Gibson, who has over 40 years of experience in alternative investment management, financial services, commodities, and entrepreneurship, and Richard Zheng, who has over 24 years of experience in principal investment and general management in the U.S. and Hong Kong. ZQ Capital's portfolio includes investments in various sectors, including media, telecommunications, healthcare, real estate, and financial institutions.
