Manage LinkedIn connections by typing a prompt
Ask Claude to send connection requests with personalised notes, follow or unfollow creators, check relationship degrees, endorse skills and track pending invitations.
Connections prompts
Copy any prompt below and paste it into Claude, Cursor or your MCP client.
“Send a connection request to satyanadella with the note: Hi Satya, loved your keynote at Build”
Sends an invitation with a personalised note (max 300 chars). Rate limit: 90 connection requests per week per account.
send-connection-request“Cancel my pending connection request to johndoe-sales”
Withdraws a pending invitation. Only needs the profile ID — the API auto-fetches the invitation details.
withdraw-invitation“Follow the LinkedIn creator sarah-ai-writes so I see her posts in my feed”
Follows a user without sending a connection request. Rate limit: 100 follow/unfollow actions per day.
follow-user“Am I connected to mike-johnson-cto? What degree?”
Returns the relationship degree (1st, 2nd, 3rd or out-of-network) between your account and the target profile.
check-relationship“Show me my most recent LinkedIn connections”
Returns your first-degree connections with name, headline and connected date. Sorted by recently added. Paginated in batches of 12.
get-connections“List all the pending connection requests I've sent out”
Returns pending invitations with profile info, timestamps and invitation IDs. Useful for tracking acceptance rates.
get-sent-invitations“Endorse one of Mike's skills on LinkedIn — pick one I haven't endorsed yet”
When set to random mode, fetches all skills on the profile, filters out already-endorsed ones and endorses one automatically.
endorse-skill“Unfollow lisa-marketing — I don't want her posts in my feed anymore”
Unfollows a user. The same tool handles both follow and unfollow actions.
