How to Configure My Custom Proxy (If Already Connected)

If your LinkedIn account is already connected to ConnectSafely, you can update the proxy location directly from the Accounts page. A proxy helps maintain natural regional activity when running automation or engagement.

Step 1: Open the Accounts Page

Go to the Accountssection from the left sidebar. Here you'll see your connected LinkedIn profiles and company pages. Locate the account you want to update.

Step 2: Click "Change Proxy"

Under the selected LinkedIn account, click Change Proxy. This will open the Change Proxy Location modal where you can:

  • View your current proxy location — see which region is currently assigned to this account
  • Select a new country — choose from the available proxy locations
  • Assign a new IP from that region — ConnectSafely will automatically pick an IP from the selected country

Step 3: Select Location & Update

Choose your preferred proxy country from the dropdown and click Update Location. Once updated:

  • Future automation activity will run from the selected region — keeping LinkedIn engagement consistent with that location
  • Your LinkedIn account will reflect activity from that location — helping maintain natural-looking regional activity patterns

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Choose a region that matches where your LinkedIn account normally operates. Using a proxy location very different from your account's usual location may trigger LinkedIn security checks.
  • Avoid frequently switching proxy locations. Frequent changes can look suspicious to LinkedIn's systems.
  • This setting only affects automation activity inside ConnectSafely. It does not change your browser's location or any other external traffic.
