In September 2025, Callodine launched the Callodine Specialty Income Fund (CALIX), a closed-end interval fund designed to provide investors with high current income through exposure to private credit and other yield-oriented investment strategies. The fund aims to expand access to the firm's private credit strategies that have traditionally been available to institutional investors. In July 2025, Callodine appointed Winston Black as the Head of its newly formed Life Sciences Finance Strategy. Mr. Black brings over 25 years of investment and operational experience, with deep domain expertise in life sciences finance, to lead the firm's efforts in sourcing, underwriting, and managing structured investments across the life sciences sector, focusing on commercial-stage companies. In October 2025, Callodine announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Corrum Capital Management LLC, a leading private credit platform specializing in asset-backed and cashflow-oriented investments across the sports, music & entertainment, and aviation industries. This strategic partnership aims to diversify and enhance Callodine's credit platform focused on asset-based and specialty lending strategies. Callodine's investment philosophy centers on identifying and capitalizing on income-oriented investments that offer high cash yields and the potential for equity-like returns, leveraging its specialized teams and diverse asset management subsidiaries to achieve these objectives.
