Christian Sinding

Overview

Christian Sinding is an Institutional Partner and Chair of the EQT Council at EQT, a leading global investment organization. He joined EQT in 1998 from AEA Investors, a U.S.-based private equity firm, and has been instrumental in the firm's growth and development. From 2019 to May 2025, Sinding served as CEO and Managing Partner, overseeing EQT's public listing on Nasdaq Stockholm and guiding the firm through a period of significant expansion. Under his leadership, EQT quadrupled in size, becoming the fourth-largest company listed on the Swedish stock exchange. Prior to his tenure as CEO, Sinding was Head of EQT Equity from 2011, playing a central role in building EQT's core investment franchise and expanding its international footprint. He has been involved in several landmark investments, including Plantasjen, Symrise, Gambro, Vaasan&Vaasan, Findus, ISS, XXL, and Broadnet. In his current role, Sinding chairs the EQT Council and the Global Investment Forum, and serves on the Investment Committees for EQT Equity, EQT Future, and EQT Healthcare Growth. He is also a board member of the EQT Foundation, supporting EQT's long-term societal engagement. Sinding holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia, which he received with Distinction in 1994.
