Fikra Paltel Group Innovation Hub is a corporate entrepreneurship program and venture capital firm in Palestine, providing a platform for entrepreneurs to experiment with ideas, validate them, and scale, including offering equity-based funding. The hub is hosted by Jawwal, a subsidiary of Paltel Group, and offers a well-equipped co-working space, access to Paltel Group infrastructure such as Jawwal’s Application Store and Jawwal Pay, and other services to transform ideas into projects or products, ultimately turning them into investment opportunities. Fikra aims to empower innovators and promising innovative enterprises by facilitating their adoption of emerging technologies and supporting their establishment and growth. The hub connects entrepreneurs with relevant national entities from the government, private, and non-profit sectors, enabling them to receive support and play a sustainable role in their development. Fikra also distributes educational resources and organizes events that showcase the significant benefits of investing in innovation and emerging technologies within Palestine. The hub has supported various startups, including WeDeliver, a tech-driven logistics company that enables businesses and customers to deliver orders more efficiently and reliably. WeDeliver's scalable platform was built on cutting-edge technology and adds extraordinary value to businesses operating in emerging markets with payment and infrastructure challenges. Fikra's mission is to lead the transformation process and culture to enable entrepreneurs and freelancers to experiment with their ideas and minimum viable products, validate them, adopt, and scale. The hub opens its doors to entrepreneurs and their ideas, provides them with free space and the newest technologies, empowers them through training sessions and mentorship, connects them with a wide network, and, in some cases, provides equity-based funding as the first Corporate Venture Capital in Palestine. Fikra's vision is to be the home to Palestine’s most serious and talented youth and professionals ready to re-shape the technology and entrepreneurship landscape. The hub aims to create an inspiring environment that offers various supportive services and programs at different stages of the project, from building the initial product to reaching the markets. Fikra's objectives include enabling entrepreneurs by supporting the emergence of innovative startups based on emerging technologies and assisting them in developing market-ready technological solutions; supporting small and medium enterprises and enhancing the operational efficiency of existing companies by adopting innovation and emerging technologies to help them grow and expand; and stimulating the technological innovation ecosystem and enhancing its role by connecting entrepreneurs, tech companies, and supporting entities from the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Fikra's services include innovation challenges designed to encourage entrepreneurs and talented individuals to find innovative solutions benefiting business owners and government entities; innovation pioneers, an intensive program offered over two months to empower innovative startups and outstanding existing enterprises through direct guidance and performance evaluation by experts; and innovation camps, a series of intensive courses offered by specialists in various fields, presented in a specialized training camp focused on a particular sector or on developing tech products, with durations ranging from two to seven days. Fikra's services are provided in Arabic and are accessible through innovation centers in Ramallah.
