Laurie M. Tisch is an American investor and philanthropist, best known as the president of the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund, which she founded in 2007. The fund aims to increase access and opportunity for all New Yorkers and foster healthy and vibrant communities. It supports initiatives in areas such as arts and health, civic engagement, access to the arts, and Jewish life. Under her leadership, the fund has launched programs like the Healthy Food & Community Change initiative and the Arts in Health initiative, addressing issues like mental health stigma and access to healthy foods in underserved communities.
