Martynas Kandzeras is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience in building and scaling businesses across Europe. He co-founded Biuro Baltic, the largest recruitment company in the Baltic States, and has been involved in various ventures across multiple industries, including city infrastructure, retail, education, and technology. His passion for entrepreneurship extends beyond business, as he actively supports social initiatives and educational programs aimed at fostering entrepreneurial skills among young people. As a founding and board member of the Lithuanian Business Angel Network (LitBAN), Martynas plays a pivotal role in promoting angel investing in Lithuania. He has personally invested in several startups, including Unmanned Defense Systems, a developer and manufacturer of tactical military drones, and Bbright, an ed-tech company. His investment strategy focuses on early-stage companies with exceptional growth potential, particularly in the technology sector. Martynas is also deeply committed to education and mentorship. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board at Junior Achievement Lithuania, an organization dedicated to developing financial and economic literacy among students. Through the JUNICORNS endowment fund, he invests in startups founded by JA alumni, ensuring that returns flow back into the JA ecosystem. His academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics and an MBA in Production Management from Vilnius University, an Executive MBA from the BMI Executive Institute, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship Education from the Cambridge Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge.
