Arya VC is Turkey's first and only gender-focused venture capital fund, established in 2013 through a collaboration between Arya Women's Investment Platform, Türkiye İş Bankası, and Maxis. The fund aims to support startups led by women or exhibiting gender-diverse leadership teams, emphasizing high returns and social impact. It operates as a collaborative intelligence ecosystem, educating women to become investors while supporting female-led and gender-balanced startups with mentorship and access to capital. The fund targets innovative, tech-driven startups with high scalability and global competitiveness, prioritizing ventures led by dynamic women entrepreneurs. Preferred sectors include E-Commerce technologies, biotech, agritech, consumer products and services, logistics, cleantech, cybertech, edtech, femtech, foodtech, and AI. Arya VC's investment strategy is sector-agnostic, focusing on early-stage companies with strong growth potential. Arya VC's portfolio includes companies such as Apollo, Cellestetix, Denebunu, Vispera, and Wiser. The fund has made 13 investments up until October 2024, including one follow-on investment, and plans to make 13 additional investments in Q4 2024 and 2025.
