TID's ratings have been upgraded by Capital Intelligence from BB- in 1999 to BBB+ in 2007, and it holds an A- rating from the International Content Rating Association (ICRA). The company is also a member of the International Auditing Accounting Association for Islamic Financial Institutions and the General Board of Islamic Financial Institutions and Banks. TID's net profits grew to a record US$ 461 million as of 31 December 2007, with total assets and shareholders' equity expanding to US$ 4.7 billion and US$ 1.4 billion respectively, indicating a ROE of 36.9% and a ROA of 10.7%.
