Email Permutator
An email permutator lists every likely email address for a person from their name and company domain: first.last@, flast@, first@ and 17 more formats, ordered from the most common. Add a middle name or nickname for more combinations, and up to three domains. It runs in your browser, so nothing you type is sent anywhere.

How to tell which format a company uses
Find one real address from the company, such as a press contact on its website or an email signature, and match it to a format above. Most companies use one format for everyone, so a single known address usually tells you the rest. The Company Email Pattern Finder does the matching for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an email permutator?
An email permutator lists the email addresses a person could have at a company, built from their name and the company's domain. It covers 20 common formats, such as first.last@, flast@ and first@, so you can work out which one is real.
How many email permutations does this tool create?
20 per domain from a first and last name, plus 5 more when you add a middle name, and another set for a nickname. With three domains, that's up to three times as many.
What is the most common company email format?
first.last@company.com is one of the most widely used formats, along with flast@ (first initial plus last name) and first@. That's why the list starts with them.
How do I find out which address is real?
Run the top few through an email verifier, which checks whether each mailbox exists without sending an email. You can also look for a real address from the same company, like a press contact or an email signature, to see which format it uses.
Is my data private?
Yes. The permutator runs entirely in your browser. The names and domains you type are never sent to our servers or stored.
What's the difference between an email permutator and an email generator?
A permutator lists every format to find someone's existing address. Our Email Generator suggests a handful of addresses to create, for example when you set up a mailbox for yourself or a new hire.
