How to add your signature
Gmail
- At the top right, click Settings, then See all settings.
- In the Signature section, click Create new and paste your signature into the box.
- At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.
Outlook (new Outlook, Outlook on the web, Outlook.com)
- Open Settings, then Accounts, then Signatures.
- Click Add signature, give it a name and paste your signature.
- Click Save.
Apple Mail on Mac
- Choose Mail, then Settings, then click Signatures.
- Select your account, click + below the list of signatures, and name it.
- Paste your signature into the preview. To keep its own font, turn off "Always match my default message font".

How do I add this signature to Gmail?
Click Copy signature, then in Gmail go to Settings, See all settings, and the Signature section. Paste it into the box and click Save Changes at the bottom of the page. Gmail allows up to 10,000 characters in a signature, and this tool shows how many yours uses.
Why doesn't my photo show up?
Email signatures load images from a link, so the photo has to be a public image on the web, starting with https. Google recommends signature images around 70 to 100 pixels tall. Links to private files, or to images that need a login, won't load for the people you email.
Will the signature look the same in every email app?
Very close. It's built from tables and inline styles, the markup email apps handle best. The round photo shows as a square in some desktop versions of Outlook, which ignore rounded corners.
What should a professional email signature include?
Your name, job title and company, one or two ways to reach you, and a link to your website or LinkedIn. For sales, a meeting link saves a round of back and forth. Leave out quotes, long disclaimers and big images.
Can I edit the HTML myself?
Yes. Click Copy HTML code to get the markup, edit it in any text editor, and paste it into apps that accept HTML signatures.
Is my information stored?
No. The signature is built in your browser from what you type. Nothing is sent to our servers or stored.
