AECF operates in various countries, including Kenya, Côte d'Ivoire, Tanzania, Somalia, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Sudan, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Benin, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, Madagascar, Mali, and Rwanda. The organization provides patient capital to early and growth-stage businesses through grants, zero-interest loans, guarantees, and working capital facilities.
