Ham Group of Companies, established in 2005 by Dr. Hamis Kiggundu, is a privately owned multinational industrial conglomerate headquartered in Kampala, Uganda. The group has diversified its operations across multiple sectors, including real estate, agro-processing, technology, education, hospitality, transportation, logistics, social media platforms, and general merchandise. With over 7,000 employees, Ham Group has expanded its presence to countries such as South Africa, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Malta. Notable projects include Ham Towers, Ham Shopping Mall, Ham Palm Villas, and the redevelopment of Nakivubo Stadium into Hamz Stadium. The group is also in the process of establishing Ham Agro Bank to support farmers with agro-produce as the main tool of trade, offering loans in the form of logistics, machinery, seeds, and services, with repayments made in agro-produce. Additionally, the group has launched digital platforms like Hamz, a video streaming app, Hamz Pay, a digital payment and money remittance platform, Hamz Campus, an online learning platform, and Hamz Line, a social media platform, through its subsidiary Hamz Link Ltd.
