Which column should the emails be in?
Any. Every column is checked, so addresses in a notes field or a combined "Name <email>" column are matched too.
Can I find emails that appear in two CSV files?
Yes. Drop both files. Addresses in both are listed as duplicates, with the names of the files they appear in.
What does the clean CSV contain?
One column, email, with each address once, in the order first found or A to Z.
Does it keep the rest of each row?
No. The result is a list of addresses. Your original file isn't changed.
Are addresses with different capital letters treated as duplicates?
Yes. JANE@acme.com and jane@acme.com are one address, and so are copies with spaces around them.
